New Zealand Landscape Photography

Welcome to my New Zealand Landscape Photography Gallery.

How do you describe New Zealand? It’s difficult to find the right words (which is why I take photos) but put simply it is one of the most stunningly beautiful countries in the world and it is an absolute dream location for exploring the outdoors and enjoying some landscape photography.

Amongst other things the North Island provides you with the pristine beaches of the Coromandel Peninsula, the Karst landscape and glowworms caves of Waitomo and the otherworldly geothermal locations of Rotorua and the volcanoes of Tongariro National Park.

The South Island has almost every kind of landscape imaginable including golden beaches and subtropical rainforest in Abel Tasman National Park, towering waterfalls and magical forests in Fiordland National Park and the glacial lakes and snow capped peaks of the Southern Alps in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park.

My New Zealand adventure took me on a 34,000km tour of both Islands in my trusty camper van “Jeff” and my gallery of images from New Zealand include some of the most memorable experiences of my life. Hopefully my photos have captured some of the wonder and awe I felt whilst visiting New Zealand and will help to inspire others to take a journey to this beautiful country and experience it for themselves.
