Welcome to my Australian landscape photography gallery.

Australia’s varied landscape, beautiful coastline and unique wildlife make it one of the most extraordinary and, at times, challenging landscape photography experiences you can have.

Australia is vast and my time there was limited to my three month visa so I chose to focus my campervan road trip on New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania. Starting with the iconic views of Sydney Harbour, I then made my way inland to the Blue Mountains National Park before heading south, spending Christmas day in the beautiful Kangaroo Valley and a New Year’s Day sunrise on Mount Kosciuszko, the highest mountain on the Australian mainland. I shared a few sunsets with some wallabies in Wilsons Promontory National Park and explored the amazing scenery of the Great Ocean Road before making my way to the vibrant city of Melbourne. Finally, I headed over the Bass Strait to fulfil another dream, Tasmania. Although hampered by wildfires during my two weeks in Tasmania, I explored as much as I was able to including Freycinet National Park, the Bay of Fires and the iconic Cradle Mountain. 

There is a story behind every image in my landscape photography gallery of Australia. I worked hard for these photos and each one required either long days, multiple visits, epic hikes or getting bitten a lot (luckily by nothing poisonous). I enjoyed every minute of my Australian adventure and, as always, I hope that my photos help to inspire others to visit this wonderfully unique and beautiful country.
